Wastewater treatment plant SEVER

The project represents the 2nd phase of the approved major project, CCI number 2011SK161PR003. The project area consists of three regions – Topoľčany, Partizánske and Bánovce nad Bebravou. As part of the 1st phase of the major project, parts of the sewer network will be built in selected municipalities and cities, the implementation of which will be completed by 06/2016, with a link to the existing sewer network. The second phase of the major project (this project) will carry out other works so that all major project indicators are met. The project consists of 2 main activities – the Canalisation activity will complete the sewer networks in the cities and municipalities of all three regions with a length of 45.37 km, as part of the Wastewater Treatment activity will expand and intensify 3 municipal WWTP Topoľčany, Partizánske and Bánovce nad Bebravou with a total capacity of 115 628 EO (of which 112 159 EOs connected to sewerage) in order to achieve limit indicators for waste water pollution at the drain in accordance with Government Regulation No 269/2010 Coll. and Council Directive 91/271/EEC concerning urban waste water treatment. The implementation of the project will improve the quality of the environment and achieve compliance with the Slovak Water Policy Concept, strategic documents and EU legislation.
