Forecasts of labour market developments in the Slovak Republic II

The project builds on the results of the previous national project XIII-2 “Projections on the labour market in Slovakia” and the opportunities identified therein for further innovation of the results achieved. It focuses on further qualitative and quantitative development of methodological practices of the general public administration apparatus, verification and updating of current data sources and dissemination of forecasts to other important segments of the labour market in Slovakia. It will synthesise heterogeneous data sources, improve and implement results in even greater detail, implement good foreign experience in connection with national and international legislation and the roles of the Ministry of Labour of the Slovak Republic. The main objective of the project is the implementation of professional activities enabling the identification of employment trends for future labour market forecasting models in the Slovak Republic and addressing current disparities between supply and demand in the labour market, through the outputs described in section 7.2 of the application and the inclusion of this information in the decision-making processes of all relevant bodies and competent institutions in the area of expected future labour market needs in the various regions of the Slovak Republic, and public awareness of the outputs. Since the implementation of the activities is necessarily subject to national scope, the project activities for the territory eligible under specific objective 3.3.1 will be financed from ESF and SR funds up to 88.84 % of the total project expenditure. Data on the ratio of the population of BSK to the total population of the Slovak Republic were used to calculate the ratio of the ratio of the funding ratio for the less developed region.
