The Žilina Self-Governing Region, as the founder of the United School, will make significant investments in the building of the school workshops in order to respond adequately to the current demands of the labour market, where 3 new professional classrooms will be created – CNC turning and milling classrooms, hydraulics and tires classrooms and electrical engineering classrooms. These classrooms will be used for study by pupils studying as part of a group of disciplines 23, 24 – Mechanical Engineering and other metalworking production and groups of disciplines 26 – Electrical Engineering. The classrooms will be located in the northern and western docks of school workshops, where the necessary construction works will also be carried out, leading not only to making the environment more attractive and functional, but also to removing existing barriers in terms of the application of the principles of universal design, thereby contributing to the specific objective of call No 2.2.3 Increasing the number of secondary vocational school pupils in practical teaching.
