Reducing the energy intensity of the SO Svit building

The subject of the project is to reduce the energy intensity of the secondary vocational school building in Svit. The building SOŠ is located in the built-up part of the town of Svit na ul. Štefániková. The building currently exceeds the natural lifespan of some building elements, the most dominant deficiency is the high energy intensity of the operation of the building. The proposed measures will be implemented in line with the recommendations of the Energy Audit, namely: replacement of the opening structure, insulation of the outer shell, insulation of the basement ceiling, insulation of the roof covering, as well as measures to reduce the energy consumption of technical equipment in the building – Measurement, control and control of energy consumption, replacement of light sources, installation of photovoltaic system. Following the implementation of the proposed measures, primary energy needs are expected to be reduced, energy savings for heating as well as emission reductions are expected. The school building will be included in energy class A1 (ultra-low energy building) after the project has been implemented.
