The Oravica flow flowing through the village of Vitanová is rip off during intensive rainfall and snow melting, causing significant damage to property, agricultural land and potentially endangering human health through repeated floods in the village and the surrounding area. By adjusting the flow with a total length of 738 m, the flow of Q100 will be carried out, thus increasing the flood protection of the municipality and enabling its territorial and economic development. The project will protect 12 people at immediate risk from flooding and prevent flood damage of more than EUR 1 million.
