Implementation of the project is proposed in the cadastral territory of the town of Bardejov, namely from the Mocrosoir Bridge to the intersection of Toplianská Street with Taras Shevchenko street. The trail in question is located on the plot. ECN 5664/14 and CN No 4279/26, 4259/1, 1474/1,4261/1. Currently there is a cycling path in the area, which is damaged. The damage occurred during the implementation of flood protection of the city of Bardejov. Given that the needs of the city’s inhabitants require the extension and reconstruction of the existing network of cycle paths, it is necessary to implement this project. The project deals with the construction of a new and reconstruction of the existing cycle path with a total length of 818 m, the construction of a bicycle gangway as well as the installation of public lighting. The project will achieve: increasing the attractiveness of cycling transport through the construction and reconstruction of a new cycle pathway, cycle gangway and public lightingreducing overall air pollution by transportincreasing the safety of pedestrians as well as cyclists and motoristsincreasing the existing network of cycle pathways in the cityincreasing the use of bicycles as a means of transportreducing noise and vibration from the means of transport
