Slovak company Innovatrics, s.r.o is one of the world’s leading biometric technologies aimed at identifying and verifying individuals based on unique biometric features of each person – fingerprints and facial detection. The company started writing a success story in 2006 at the technological incubator of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, currently employs more than 50 employees and cooperates with many co-workers from all over the world. Development capacities are concentrated in Bratislava’s headquarters, other branches are being built in Banská Bystrica, Brno, Prague, Singapore and USA. The aim of this project is to support creativity and innovation in the company Innovatrics, s.r.o., which operates in the field of creative industries in the Bratislava region through the innovation of the software application MyPicture, which has the potential to compete in the global market. The application enables the rapid and accurate sorting of a large number of photos through facial biometric recognition technology. Innovation will be achieved by combining an innovative optimised multi-factor mathematical algorithm and statistical biometric recognition methods with a programmed application interface for working with photographs and will also support mobile platforms. Market application and penetration of the global digital market will be supported by complementary activities in the core activity such as marketing activities, the deployment of e-business tools and the upgrading of skills and competences of Innovatrics, s.r.o employees in the creative industry.
