Objective of the project: Improvement of drinking water supply to the inhabitants of Kalvárska streets and brigadier in NitraReconstruction of the water supply on the streets of Kalvárska and brigadier is necessary due to the frequent breakdown of the existing water supply. By reconstructing the public water supply, the water pipes are replaced by the end-of-life water pipes with better hydraulic parameters, thus ensuring a significant reduction of losses in the water supply network and improving the pressure ratios of the water supply network. At the same time, the number of faults on the water supply network will be reduced, which significantly affects the cost-effectiveness of public water supply operations. Furthermore, the improvement of the quality parameters and health safety of drinking water in accordance with Section 13(1) of Act No 442/2002 Coll. on public water supply and public sewerage, as amended by special regulations, shall be ensured. The new water pipeline will meet the quality and hygiene requirements in accordance with Directive 98/83/EC on the quality of water intended for human consumption and Government Regulation No 354/2006 laying down requirements for water for human consumption and the quality control of water intended for human consumption. After its completion and commissioning, the proposed project will improve the state of connection of the population in the area to the public water supply, contribute to a smooth supply of drinking water to the population, improve the situation with regard to the increase in the number of inhabitants with permanent access to quality drinking water from public water supply, improve the usability of local water resources and significantly reduce water leakagesMeasurable indicators projektu:Počet km of the reconstructed water supply network: 0.658 kmIncreased population with improved drinking water supply: 108 persons The project is in line with the IROP Strategy – Priority Axis 4 – Improving the quality of life in regions with an emphasis on the environment, which follows thematic objective No.6 Protection of the environment and promotion of resource efficiency, with the specific objective 4.2.1 IROP, as well as the Plan for the Development of Public Water Supply and Public Coverage for the Slovak Republic.
