The national project raises the issue of drought and water scarcity contained in the H2O Action Plan to address the consequences of drought and water scarcity NPP H2ODNOTA (hereinafter referred to as “the H2O Action Plan”). The main objective of the national project, through a mix of media activities/tools (e.g. TV spots, radio spots, online articles, social networking campaigns and other non-traditional forms of communication), is to provide the general public with information on the adverse consequences of drought and water scarcity and the possibilities for proactive adaptation to climate change through the implementation of the various measures outlined in the Action Plan on Drought and Water Scarcity H2ODNOTA is VODA. The aim of the national project is therefore to be twofold to draw attention, first, to the adverse consequences of drought and water scarcity, which affect each of us without distinction, and then to present effective ways of mitigating or eliminating those adverse effects in full. The main activity of the project will consist of a mix of media activities implemented by a wide range of communication tools, such as. TV spots, radio spots, online articles, social networking campaigns and other non-traditional forms of communication. The different communication tools will be combined and complemented over time at different stages so as to reach the target audience as much as possible. The implementation of the national project will thus ensure that the general public at national level is evenly informed in a cross-sectional manner, i.e. throughout Slovakia
