The overall objective of ECON4SD is to strengthen R&D capacities in sustainable construction by developing components and design models for resource and energy efficient buildings based on the construction materials concrete, steel an timber. New products, new techniques, new models will be developed. Unique prefabricated structural building components which allow destruction-free, dis-and-re-assembly responding to changing structural demands, revitalisation or removal, will be developed within the projects.
