The 8 municipalities, members of the Natural Park of the Our, have decided, since joining the Climate Pact, to achieve energy optimisation of the public lighting infrastructure, while improving the quality of lighting itself and reducing light pollution to a minimum. Following the publication in 2018 of the national guide “Gutes Licht im Aussenraum” by the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, the municipalities of the Natural Park of Our have indicated their determination to be among the first municipalities to implement the recommendations recommended in this guide in the form of a methodical pilot project entitled “Pilot Streetlighting 2.0”.
