Creation and reconstruction of COVP Ivanská cesta 21

The professional school Ivanská cesta 21 has several objects in the campus of the school. In the school building, the theoretical, space and availability of limited, practical preparation of pupils take place. In the building Operation building 27 mainly takes place theoretical, but materially and technically limited practical preparation of pupils. Due to the development requirements of the Centre of Vocational Education and Training, the building of associated workshops was also used, which was structurally unsatisfactory, but offers the potential for further growth of practical training of pupils. In view of the new possibilities gained thanks to the building of the associated workshop building, it was necessary to reconsider and optimise the involvement of pupils in practical preparation by concentrating on the building of associated workshops. Due to the high investment intensity, the Secondary Vocational School Ivanská cesta 21 was not able to innovate technical and technological procedures in the above fields, resulting in insufficient training of pupils in practical teaching with an impact on the labour market. The aim of the project “Creation and reconstruction of COVP Ivanská cesta 21” (hereinafter referred to as “the project”) is to increase the number of pupils in vocational secondary schools in practical teaching under Priority Axis 2: Easier access to more efficient and better quality public services. The implementation of the main activities No 1: Reconstruction and modernisation of the workshop building and the main activity no. 2: Modernisation of material and technical equipment of professional workplaces of the Building of Associated Workshops and the main activity no. 3: Increasing the energy efficiency of the Associated Workshop Building after the end of the project will be supported by the Centre for Vocational Education and Training Ivanská cesta 21 (hereinafter referred to as “COVP”), in the field of construction of 4889.55 m² of floor area of renovated public buildings, renovated 1 public building, supported by 1 vocational education and training centre, thus supporting school infrastructure for 350 pupils attending the fields covered by the project. Given the demographic evolution of the population, the increase in the attractiveness of vocational training through the project and the positive developments in the labour market, we expect the result to be increased by 10 % by 2025 in the number of pupils undergoing vocational training in the supported infrastructure. The target group, which will benefit from the implementation of the project, are pupils, participants in further education and educators. With its solution, the project approximates the conditions under which vocational education and training, further education and the development of educators are carried out to conditions similar to those in the business environment, and it will create improvements in spatial, material and technical equipment and conditions for vocational education and training, which will enable more COVP pupils to undertake experience in an environment comparable to the private sector, with the possibility of subsequent involvement of pupils in teaching directly with the employer. The applicant BSK in section 10.2 Overview of the measurable indicators of the application application selected the target value “0” for the indicator with code P0310 The number of supported ISPs, SOAs, SPVs, SOPCs (not COVP) because the project is not supported by the ISS but by COVP. In the development of the Regional Integrated Territorial Strategy BSK, there was a clear requirement to direct support from external sources to centres of excellence – COVP as they are the guarantor of vocational training for other ESSs in the various economic segments. Through the COVP status, the CSO acquires a unique position among schools of a similar type and the school’s credit increases significantly. The focus has also been on providing lifelong learning within the meaning of Act No. 568/2009 on Lifelong Learning and on Amendments and Supplements to certain Acts since the beginning of the project preparation, which is adapted to building objects in terms of disposition. Through building modifications, reconstruction of the external and indoor areas of the COVP area, we concentrate professional workplaces from several school buildings into one building of the Associated Workshop Building, thus contributing to improving the quality of education conditions, increasing the safety of pupils, promoting inclusion by debarierising the premises and, last but not least, increasing energy efficiency.
