The national project “Implementation and support of quality management in public administration organisations” aims to increase awareness and application of quality management in public administration. Its aim is to contribute to increasing the efficiency and quality of the management of the activities of public administration organisations. This objective will be achieved through the main activity of the national project “Development of Quality Management in Public Administration Organisations”, which is divided into two parts. As part of the first, the implementation of quality management will take place in fifteen central state administration bodies (including the applicant) and in five contributory and budgetary organisations that are partners of the national project. The following quality management tools, the CAF model, the EFQM excellence model and the ISO 9001 quality management system will be implemented. The anti-corruption management system according to ISO 37001 and the self-assessment tool for quality culture will also be implemented on a pilot basis. Implementation, ownership and other, continuous development of one of the above-mentioned tools in partner organisations will contribute to the improvement of activities, services provided and, in particular, to ensuring that the requirements of citizens – customers are met. Under the second part, the CAF Centre will be established, which will provide educational and advisory activities in the field of quality management for public administration organisations throughout Slovakia. In addition to the partners of the national project, the target group of the national project is also other public administration organisations, self-governing regions, municipalities, towns, organisations in their founding field, etc., which will use the services of the newly established CAF center within the framework of the national project. Beneficiaries/users of public administration services, which will be affected by the implementation of quality management in public administration organisations, will be legal entities and citizens through better quality services provided by employees of these organisations.
