Optimisation of public health processes

The main project promoter is the PHA SR, which is the budgetary organisation of the State with competence for the territory of the Slovak Republic. The PHA has sufficient capacity to successfully implement the proposed projects according to the proposed procedure. The project will also be joined by a partner – National Health Information Centre, whose task is mainly to ensure communication with selected users (such as health insurance companies) of public health data and selected public health services. The objectives of the national project reflect efforts to address problems and make progress in priority areas. The objectives can be divided into two categories: 1. Improving public health of the population, based on a functioning public health system (focusing on priority areas). 2. Improving the functioning of public health. The project will be implemented through the following measures: Digitisation of processes, New interactive services, Optimisation of public health management, Data will be published in a transparent manner and modus operandi will change – Regulation 2.0.Optimalised practices and their information technologies (IT) public health support will have a positive impact in the area of public health, which can reduce state spending on healthcare provision in the long term.
