A condition for the functioning of the flood line consisting of a whole group of seven buildings is the completion of a continuous flood line on the right and left side of the Little Danube stream. After their completion, the buildings will provide flood protection in the region of the Little Danube stream and partly in the Nitra region. At Construction 1 and Construction 2, which are the subject of this application, we propose to increase the safety of the area against the backflow of surface water from the Danube and Váh by increasing (leveling, filling) the right-hand dam of the Little Danube to the point of 114.00 m above sea level and against excessive groundwater leaching into the protected background through the embankment body and its backing by technical measures (ground sealing wall – PTS – in the axis of the crown of the dam through the dam body and through part of the hydraulically active base of the dams to eliminate leaks through the protective line of the Little Danube. Appropriate observation and measurement equipment shall be developed to monitor the effectiveness of the proposed modifications. The target group is the inhabitants of the region, which is adjacent to the flow of the Little Danube in the area of Kolárovo – Horné Topoľníky. Place of construction: Cadastral area – Upper Topoľníky, Dolné Topoľníky, Okoč, Kolárovo. District – Dunajská Streda, Komárno. VÚC – Trnavský, Nitra. Flow – Little Danube, Klatovské arm. For Construction 1, according to the Flood Risk Management Plan, the corresponding geographical areas on the right bank are 123 inhabitants at risk, which represents the value of a measurable indicator as the calculated number of inhabitants potentially at risk from flooding. The quantifiable indicator of the value of the property protected from floods was calculated at the value of 3 028 340,EUR 50. At the construction of 3 in order to seal the protective dams on both banks of the river Nitra we propose an underground sealing wall (PTS) in the axis of the dam crown through the dam body and through part of the subsoil of the dam. In order to stabilise the subsoil, a loading bead shall be constructed. The target group is the inhabitants of the region, which is adjacent to the transfer of the river Nitra in the area of Vážsky wedge – Komoča – Nové Zámky. Place of construction: Cadastral territory – Komoča, Nové Zámky, Vážsky wedge. District – Nové Zámky, Komárno. VÚC – Nitra. Flow – Nitra, or Transformation of the river Nitra. As part of the whole group of buildings (anti-flood line of seven buildings I. II. and III. stage), the completion of continuous flood protection on the right and on the left side of the Malý Dunaj, Váh and the river Nitra is a condition for the functionality of the constructions of the lower section of M. Danube III (Stavba 1, Construction 2 and Construction 3) as part of the whole group of buildings. Once completed, the structures will provide flood protection in the region.
