The project “Improving public transport policies, innovative capacity in transport and supporting partnership in the deployment of smart mobility” represents a solution for smart mobility in response to existing road transport challenges. The project will be implemented in five activities where in Activity 1 the project will be mapping the overall framework of the project and developing a strategy for the development of smart mobility (English. “smart mobility”) in Slovakia in order to monitor the state of play as well as to set up monitoring mechanisms, progress control and other coordination mechanisms for the future. This activity will be followed up by Activity 2, creating the necessary regulation and related organisational framework (organisational changes in relevant entities, process changes, etc.). Under activity 3, legislation and proposed processes will be put into practice. Activity 4 is aimed at supporting the implementation of changes, but rather at information and data level. The aim is to create an environment and specifications in which a coordinated approach to building and managing data bases, sharing them, consolidating, processing and effective dialogue between data customers and their producers takes place. Activity 5 is implemented in parallel with other activities and its main ambition is to build a collaborative platform and innovation partnership for smart mobility, in which there will be regular interaction with private, public and scientific research sector actors, and where the different aspects of smart mobility will be discussed.
