The implementation of the project will increase the safety of road users, increase the traffic flow of road II/583. Transport infrastructure and thus the quality of transport operators, transport connections will also be improved. It will also eliminate bottlenecks and dangerous points on the road network. From the point of view of the transport function of this road, there will be an improvement and improvement of the transport connection of the regions of Horné Považie, Orava and Kysuce, in connection with the regional city of Žilina and the links to the superior road network and the TEN-T network – strengthening regional mobility by connecting secondary and tertiary nodes to the TEN-T infrastructure, including multimodal nodes. As part of the implementation of the submitted project, the 2nd class roads with a length of 3,815 km will be reconstructed. Selected sections, which are located in the cadastre of villages Zázrivá and Párnica, are part of the road II/583.Technical assurance of project implementation will be solved contractors. The operational and technical sustainability of the project’s outputs throughout the sustainability period will be ensured by the applicant in accordance with the applicable Slovak legislation. ŽSK has the necessary financial envelope to ensure the operation and sustainability of the project outputs.
