Digital working environment of an employee of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic

In 2009-2015, the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic (Ministry of the Interior) electronicised and centralised a number of agendas within its remit, which now constitute the core blocks of public administration reform (hereinafter also the HR). A central backend agenda, reference registers of natural persons and addresses, an integrated information system in the field of BackOffice, registry and operational management, electronic archive and other building elements of the eGovernment environment of the Ministry of the Interior have been built or modified. The variety of existing applications, multiple logins of users, exchange of data by email and the use of multiple technological devices for the execution of the agenda cause increased workability, which entails operating costs. The aim of the project “Digital working environment of an employee of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic” (hereinafter also Workdesk) is thus to build on existing system solutions and link them to enable a flexible response to changes with minimal costs and long-term sustainability and to provide services to citizens comfortably, flexibly and efficiently. Goal projektu:Vybudovanie of the digital environment of an employee of the Ministry of the Interior, thus achieving:a) Modern ICT solutions will be deployed to the contact and the process of serving citizensb) Increasing the efficiency of public administration employees. The project will cover all organizational units of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic (district offices, police, fire and rescue services, as well as the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic), which are the target group, thus achieving a higher and more effective level of services provided by them. The focus of the project, which aims to set standards for relevant activities of the Ministry of the Interior in Slovakia as well as other entities of the HR, requires a comprehensive and systemic solution at national level and will also be applicable to other public authorities (which is no longer the subject of this request). The accumulation of such concentrated resources focuses on the efficiency of the use of human, technological, institutional and administrative capacities of the Ministry of the Interior in order to fulfil the ambitions of public administration reform. The outputs of the project will be used to streamline the work of the Ministry of the Ministry’s organisations, as evidenced by the fulfilment of the chosen measurable indicator referred to in points 7.3 and 10.1 of this Application for non-repayable financial contribution (hereinafter referred to as the non-refundable grant application). For more information, see https://metais.finance.gov.sk/studia/detail/9420410b-5318-49af-8161-01ea4fe43bf2?tab=basicForm
