New building of a kindergarten in the village Jarovnice

The primary objective of the project “New Building of the Maternity School in Jarovnice” is to improve access to quality education of pre-school children with an emphasis on children from the marginalised Roma community through the construction of a new kindergarten building in the village. In the village of Jarovnice there is one kindergarten, which provides all-day education and education to 98 children. Due to insufficient capacity, it was extended by 64 seats, so the capacity after enlargement is 162 children. The aim of the project is to build a new kindergarten building with an expected capacity of 160 children, including a minimum of 32 children from MRK. Improving access to education and working directly with the community are secondary objectives for meeting priorities within community work needs. The present project is conceptually fully in line with the global objective of the OP HR, Priority Axis 6 Technical equipment in municipalities with the presence of marginalised Roma communities, fulfils the objectives of investment priority 6.1 Providing support for physical, economic and social regeneration of deprived communities in urban and rural areas through Specific Objective 6.1.2 Improve access to quality education, including early childhood education and care. At the same time, the project is fully in line with the long-term plans of the city set out in the document “Programme for Economic and Social Development of Jarovnice until 2022”.
