The Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and the Family of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter MPSVR SR), through its subordinate institution of the National Labour Inspectorate (hereinafter NIP) and labour inspectorates (hereinafter IP), implements the state administration in the field of labour inspection pursuant to Act No 125/2006 on labour inspection and amending Act No 82/2005 on undeclared work and illegal employment and amending certain acts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as Act No 125/2006). The project responds to the current socio-economic situation in the field of labour inspection and the Slovak Republic’s European commitments in this field. At present, the management and information systems of the National Labour Inspectorate do not meet European standards, nor do they make use of market-available technological opportunities. The project has the ambition to present a new, technologically innovative solution to the labour inspection agenda in the Slovak Republic, which will be based on the optimisation of processes and the subsequent development of supporting electronic tools for efficient data processing and use. The aim of the project is to implement the provision of electronic services to the public, including the provision of open data.
