The main objective of the project is the implementation of intelligent solutions within the automation of the production process in the functional unit – the workstation in the company SLSLOVAKIA, a.s. The realisation of the goal of the project will contribute to increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation of the functional unit – the workstation. The project objective will be implemented through the main activity of the project “Supporting Smart Innovation”. As part of this activity, the following production facilities for a functional unit will be procured: Portal machining center and horizontal milling and boring machine. These technologies will replace existing facilities in the functional unit -the workroom: CNC horizontal boring and milling machine WFQ 80 NCA and CNC horizontal boring and milling machine TK 6513. Replacing WFQ 80 NCA and TK6513 with new technologies – Portal machining centre and Horizontal milling and boring machine, will allow the implementation of elements (smart elements in new machines) as part of the automation of the production process: workpiece and tool laser probe, automatic tool change, universal milling head.The introduction of these elements within the automation of the production process will significantly shorten the operating times of production. This will lead to a reduction in total production time. The many repetitive monotonous or strenuous activities currently taking place within a functional unit will be shortened. As a result, there will be a significant increase in performance at the same time. New innovative production technologies will be located in the existing premises of the production area of SL SLOVAKIA, a. s. in the village of Slovenská Ľupča. The project will result in the following measurable indicators: P0284: Number of enterprises receiving grants – 1 and P0760: Number of innovated processes – number 1.
