The Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic) has been operating the current e-mail system since 2011. The e-mail system is operated in the Data Centre of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic and provides its functionalities for the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic and the District, Regional and Specialised Criminal Courts, i.e. for approximately 7 500 users. The e-mail system is contained in the ISVS Development Concept of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic. The project is the migration of the e-mail system to the government cloud environment in the sense of the tasks resulting from Slovak Government Resolution No 247/2014. Migration of the e-mail system is in line with the Strategic Priority of the National Concept of Informatisation of Public Administration – Government Cloud. The aim of the project is to respond to the current capacity constraints of the operation of the MS SR e-mail system, to optimise its operation in the coming years and to reduce the current operating expenditure for the system in question.
