Community center in the village Jarovnice

The main objective of the project “Communication Centre in Jarovnice” is to improve access to social infrastructure for its population, in particular the marginalised Roma community, through the construction of a community centre in the municipality.  The main aim of the project is, in particular, to promote the social inclusion of the marginalised Roma population in the municipality, to mitigate and eliminate individual and social disparities, which lead to a deepening of their social exclusion and reduced quality of life. The construction of a community centre as a neutral space that is accessible and open to any target group in the village (regardless of age, gender, religion, social status, etc.) will create spatial and material conditions for the provision of comprehensive social and community services, community development, community and social work, community rehabilitation, as well as space for interaction and joint activities of the population in the municipality. With its non-discriminatory approach, a wide range of social services and other activities and activities, the community centre will help solve the difficult social problems of individuals and entire population groups in the village of Jarovnice. The activities of the KC have the ambition to significantly encourage people to take a more active approach to the situation in the village and also to be aware of the shared responsibility for the development and prosperity of their settlement community, and ultimately for the quality of their lives. The community center will be in the built-up part of the village, near the elementary school, on plots No. 102,103 and 107. Based on the project documentation of KC Jarovnice, it is the construction of the KC with maximum requirements for the premises. The marginalised Roma community of Jarovnice mainly lives in a settlement that is connected to the village, part of which lives directly in the village. The location of the community centre is a strategically appropriate step, since one of the primary target groups of the CCC is children and youth, who will be allowed to participate in the activities of the community center without restrictions after the end of school education and will thus be able to fulfil their free time in a meaningful way. At the same time, KC will also be accessible to other members of the community. The present project is conceptually fully in line with the global objective of OP HR, Priority Axis 6 Technical equipment in municipalities with the presence of marginalised Roma communities and fulfils the objectives of Investment Priority 6.1.Providing support for physical, economic and social regeneration of neglected communities in urban and rural areas. At the same time, it is consistent with the long-term plans of the municipality set out in Jarovnice’s Economic and Social Development Plan and the strategy for economic and economic development of the municipality in 2014-2030. With its activities, the project will fulfil the selected measurable indicators: Number of community centers built – within the framework of the submitted project construction will be provided for the purpose of establishing a single Community centre in the village of Jarovnice. — 1 CCP of jobs created specifically for CLLD through the application of the social aspect in public procurement – as a result of the application of the social aspect in public procurement in the implemented project, 2 jobs will be created in a targeted manner from the CLLD environment – 2 jobs
