Brief description of the project The aim of the project is to improve skills and create conditions for quality education, through the expansion of the capacities of the Ministry of Education of Galactic 9, Košice – the eloked workplace, improving the quality of life and ensuring easier access to effective and better quality public services.Specific objectives of the project je:Zvýšenie gross training of children of schools and the availability of pre-primary education.Providing quality pre-primary education through the development of educational infrastructure. Within the project we plan to expand the capacities in the Ministry of Education of Galactic 9, Košice – an eloked workplace, located in the city district Nad Lake, namely by structural and technical modifications of unused premises of the existing Elementary School Galactická 9, Košice and their adaptation to the needs of the kindergarten with elements of inclusive education. The current state of occupancy of the pre-school facility is 128 children and we plan to extend the capacity by 120 children, i.e. 6 classes. Secondary schools are among the establishments with a high number of pending applications for placements of children.  The main activities of the Schools are in accordance with defined types of activities and in accordance with the conditions of eligibility of activities and to:stavebno-technické adaptation of existing objects and their adaptation to the needs of the kindergarten with elements of inclusive education – unused premises of primary schools, procurement of material and technical equipment of kindergartens. By implementing the activities of the project we will achieve the fulfilment of the established measurable indicators- Capacity of the supported school infrastructure of kindergartens – 120,- Number of supported kindergartens-1 – Number of refurbished public buildings – 1.- Number of supported MS material-technical equipment-1. The project is also in line with the operational strategy of Košice (the project is also part of the sustainable strategy of the project, which is in line with the urban area-1 – Number of refurbished public buildings – 1.- Number of supported MES material-technical equipment-1.
