A brief description of the Slovak Republic, in its programme statement for the period 2016-2020 in the field of health policy, identified as one of its priorities the area of development, renewal and modernisation, i.e. new services of the health sector for individual actors in the sector. In order to meet these ambitious and demanding objectives, it is necessary to reform the area of e-service provision of the resort so that the objectives and benefits of eHealth in Slovakia are met.
