The quality of public administration and its efficiency are the most important preconditions for the implementation of smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. For this reason, the Bratislava Self-Governing Region decided to implement the project “Smart Region BSK”. The aim of the project “Smart Region BSK” is to create an effectively functioning office that provides targeted, accessible and efficient services to the citizens of the county. At the same time, the aim is to optimise policies in selected sectors in order to achieve sustainable development in line with SMART principles. The target group, which will positively influence the outputs of the project, are residents and visitors of the Bratislava region. The realisation of the project and the achievement of the desired outputs and results are based on 3 activities: Activity 1 – Improving and streamlining processes, systems and policies at the Office of the Bratislava Self-Governing RegionActive 2 – Introduction of a quality management system in the organisationActivity 3 – Education of employees of the Office of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region From the point of view of measurable indicators, the output of the project is mainly the processing of conceptual, analytical and methodological materials, strengthening of personnel capacities carrying out analytical or managerial activities, introduction of innovative processes, introduction of evaluation of social development, introduction of quality management system, implementation of training activities for employees of the Office of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region.
