The subject of the project is the construction of a public water supply in the villages of Tuhár in the district of Lučenec. Residents of the village are supplied only with water from their own wells, which is often unsatisfactory, water quality does not meet the requirements of STN 75 7211. At the same time, the wells have a low spreading rate. There is no suitable source of drinking water for public water supply in the village. The lack of sufficient and high-quality drinking water for the population is one of the main environmental problems, which has been unresolved for several years. With the construction of the water supply the village has partially started, but so far only some parts have been realised, most of the networks are missing and water supply is not ensured. The aim of the project is to ensure a smooth supply of drinking water for the inhabitants of the village of Tuhár through the construction of a public water supply. The water supply will be connected to the existing distribution network of the municipality Divín, part of the project also the construction of the service station and water supply. Only after comprehensive completion will the supply of drinking water from the public water supply to the village Tuhár be operational and the objectives of the project will be ensured. The aim of the project will be achieved through the implementation of one main activity of the project: “Construction of public water supply”, and clearly measurable through 2 indicators: Number of km of built water supply network – 3.577 km and Increased population with improved drinking water supply value of 312. Implementation of the project will also contribute to improving the quality of life in the village, improving the living conditions of the inhabitants with a positive impact on their social situation.
