The project of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Comenius University in Bratislava aims to improve the quality of the training of future teachers of science subjects, through the improvement of pedagogical practice and the preparation of educational materials for science teachers.  Implementation of the project will ensure the extension of the number of hours of direct teaching during pedagogical practice and related analyses of teaching of science subjects – biology, geography, chemistry and environmentalism, carried out by students of teaching disciplines in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Comenius University in Bratislava, with an emphasis on the application of researcher-oriented approaches. The improvement of the practical training of future science teachers will be supported by the creation of methodological materials, instructional videos with procedures for the implementation of simple science experiments and in the pedagogical practice of proven, didactically elaborated models of teaching lessons. The main group of the project are students of Comenius University in Bratislava in the study field Teaching of academic subjects in the study programmes of teaching in the respective combinations with biology, geography, chemistry and environmentalism in combination.
