The aim of the project is to increase the share of transport work sharing in favour of more environmentally friendly modes of transport – cycling on urban mobility in the city of Trenčín, in its urban part West – forming urban districts Záblatie, Malé Záblatie, Zlatovce with connection to the Centre and other Town Parts of Sihote, Kubrá and Opatová and adjacent municipalities in the city functional area Trenčín by continuing to build a compact network of cycling infrastructure – cycling roads with the necessary measures aimed at calming traffic and improving the safety of vulnerable road users. The target area of implementation of the project is the county town Trenčín, part of Vážská Cyclingmagisttraly as the basis of the cycling infrastructure in the region local communication C1 (MZ 8.5 – width of road./50 – speed) located on ul. Ľudovít Stárka, which in terms of the genera of cycling traffic of the city of Trenčín forms part of the transport link branch D radial cycling route with priority transport function with branches C, A, H and G, which makes available from the northern part of the city an industrial park and an economic node in the urban part of the West generating more than 300 jobs. The outputs of the project in the form of 2,6156 km of the new cycling road on and in the local service communication of functional class C1 in the form of a segregated cycling path-cycling path, a common path for pedestrians and cyclists, and 1 element of calming of traffic in the form of a preference for cycling and pedestrian traffic at the expense of individual transport (barrier connection of local communications, special warning belt for the separation of cyclist pedestrians, built from adhesive polyurethane elements, complete vertical and horizontal traffic signs implemented in the sense of STN 018020, Decree No.9/2009, and TP of the TP of additional infrastructure will allow the urban area of illumination and TP 07/2014. The project is fully in line with the IROP intervention strategy, and by implementing the project we will contribute to the achievement of strategic urban, regional, national and European objectives for the use of environmentally friendly transport systems for sustainable urban mobility. The project will have a positive impact on the quality of the environment by reducing air pollution, noise and vibration as if the horizontal principle Non-discrimination in the form of debarierisation of public spaces, thereby contributing to improving the living conditions of the population. We will achieve a positive impact through measures aimed atpreferring cycling and walking to the detriment of individual transport. A significant contribution is the creation of a secure connection of the city center with the industrial zone and economic node in the West with the municipalities of Sihote, Kubrá and Opatová. The implementation of the project will motivate people to move within the city using a job bike/public service
