The main objective of the national project “Promoting the improvement of professionalism in performance and development of human resources in the field of performance and social inclusion services for state administration and self-government – II.” (hereinafter referred to as NP PROFI II.) is based on a common educational strategy of the department to create a functional system of departmental education (specialisation education, post-secondary education and continuous education) which has not yet been present in the department. The current urgency of the need for a systemic solution for the deepening of qualifications as part of the departmental system of education in the field of social inclusion support is based on the fact that social workers – professional employees carry out activities resulting from the diversity and specificity of the needs of users of their work – clients, and the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family) cannot ignore the need for further professional development of social workers and other workers active in the field of social affairs and family.NP PROFI II reflects the requirements, competences and tasks in the field of education arising from Act No 219/2014 Coll. on social work and conditions for the performance of certain professional activities in the field of social affairs and family and amending and supplementing certain laws. The national project will be implemented at national level as a tool for creating and subsequently supporting a functional system of departmental education. NP PROFI II. it will have an impact on the whole territory of the Slovak Republic, as its target group is employees active in the sectoral remit of the Ministry of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, as well as individual municipalities. A functional system of departmental education will increase the professionalism of performance in social inclusion services and directly support the professionalisation of social work and other professional activities. In practice, this will ensure the provision of accessible, high-quality services to promote social inclusion.
