The city of Trenčín as the target area of implementation of the project belongs to economically and ecologically balanced cities, which create a pleasant environment for life for more than 55 thousand inhabitants. In its further development, it does not rely on the arrival of new large industrial enterprises, but it sees its economic development mainly in support of partnerships, economic clusters and competitive economy in which economic activities will be developed especially in areas with high added value, high levels of innovation and creativity, respecting the existing industrial capacities of the territory, creating conditions for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises – existing and new arrivals, aimed at providing services, products and activities with higher added value to existing industrial capacities, or production in completely new industries in the territory and surrounding region. It would like to attract and support the development of new ideas, concepts and innovations and their transformation into business activities through the creation of spatial and other conditions.  It will be the creation of suitable premises, but also various support activities, which will create an attractive place for work and business from Trenčín.Equally important element is the completion of the process of transformation of innovations into business activities and products up to the stage of their “introduction into life”. Synergy bringing benefits not only for the economic sphere, but also for the inhabitants and the city itself is achieved by using attractive spaces on the waterfront, in which the city will support the creation of a certain form of economic mushroom, allowing to present and disseminate the excellent and excellent results of local economic producers. It is important to build pride in products, activities and activities and their creators, which are high-end and can bear the designation “Made in Trenčín” within the project “Trenčín SiTy” The aim of the present project “Centre of Cultural-Creative Potential of Star” is to create, conditions for the development of creative talent and non-technological innovations as stimulating the promotion of employment and creation of jobs in the cultural and creative industry, stimulating the functioning of a favorable creative ecosystem and improving the quality of life of people in the city of Trenčín and the adjacent regionThe aim of the project is to be achieved by the realisation of 3 main activities – a comprehensive cultural monument – a cultural object. Prince Pribina 3, Trenčín with a comprehensive modernisation of the internal equipment “Building the cultural and creative center of Hviezda” in which “specific services of CKP Hviezda” will be provided in an open workshop, studios or artistic incubators with a strong “support of demand for creative creation of so-called new talents (emerging talents)”. The physical output of the main activity of the project 1 “Building the cultural and creative center of Hviezda” will be one built a creative centre with a floor area of 2078 m² in one renovated public building on the territory of sustainable urban development strategies with an area of – 1075 m². The physical output of the main activity of project 2 “Provision of specific services of CKKP Hviezda” will be the provision of 7 services – open studio, workshop, 3 types of accelerator, rental of premises and techniques provided by creative centres within the support programmes for 1380 participants in Creative Centre support programmes, 180 participants in the incubation and acceleration scheme, which will support 12 new enterprises with an increase in employment of 12 FTEs and 180 enterprises; who will receive non-financial support through the Physical output of the main activity of the project 3 “Supporting demand for creative creation of CCC Hviezda” will be 230 information events and group activities for programme participants The project will not focus on the renovation of the public building, which also includes energy measures (e.g. insulation of the building, replacement of fillings, roofs, etc.) and therefore the relevant indicators have the stated target value “O”.The Centre of Cultural-Creative Potential Star in Trenčín has the ambition to establish itself as a rooftop regional infrastructure providing specific services for the development of the creative economy with support for the demand for creative creation.
