The primary objective of the project “Land Communications – village Jarovnice” is to ensure the growth of Roma households with access to improved housing conditions through the reconstruction of roads, paved areas and public lighting. The aim of the project is to improve the accessibility of services for residents of CLLD in segregated and separated Roma settlements. The main activity of the project is “Supporting the completion of basic technical infrastructure”. The place of implementation of the project is Jarovnice, which is the largest Roma rural community in Central Europe. The output of the implemented activities will be to ensure the connection of the settlement with the infrastructure of the village (land communication) leading to institutions and services, namely educational institutions, community center, municipal office, post office, health facilities and SAD stop. Fulfillment of the measurable indicator of the project Number of inhabitants of CLLD, which will improve housing conditions through the construction/completion of roads – 6 032 will be realised through the construction of footpaths, reconstruction of local roads, construction of local roads and paved areas and the construction of public lighting at pedestrian crossings. The present project is conceptually fully in line with the overall objective of the OP HR, Priority Axis 6 Technical equipment in municipalities with the presence of marginalised Roma communities, fulfils the objectives of investment priority 6.1 Providing support for physical, economic and social regeneration of deprived communities in urban and rural areas through specific objective 6.1.1 Growth in the number of Roma households with access to improved housing conditions. At the same time, the project is fully in line with the long-term plans of the municipality set out in the document Jarovnice’s Economic and Social Development Programme 2014-2030.
