The maintenance base in Krasňany is located in the city district Bratislava – Rača. Currently, the facilities for the maintenance and repair of tram and bus vehicles are located in the depot. The main shortcomings that need to be addressed in the maintenance base in Krasňany, or activities that will be realizované:Odstránenie of existing unused objects, so as to complete the objects that are necessary to carry out maintenanceModernisation of existing or construction of new buildings, where new technology will be locatedRepair or construction of rails, including security equipmentPreparation or construction of paved surfacesChoosing new technological equipmentSecure of strong current and weak current electrical distributionSolution of water supply, gas and sewerage of areasThe project is to provide project documentation for the modernisation of the maintenance base. In the next step, according to the developed project documentation, the applicant also wants to carry out construction works and thus meet other objectives, namely improving the quality of maintenance of public transport railway vehicles. The modernisation of the maintenance base will increase the reliability and attractiveness of the Bratislava Transport Company’s fleet, thereby contributing to the fulfilment of Specific Objective 3.1: Increasing the attractiveness of public passenger transport through the modernisation and reconstruction of infrastructure for ITS and urban rail transport.
