The city of Košice operates information systems to ensure the performance of its competences. The city needs a solution to develop the existing functionality of information systems so that the quality and portfolio of provided electronic services for citizens as well as entrepreneurs is enhanced. Electronic services need to be integrated on a larger scale in order to meet the requirements of strategic priorities and legislation aimed at improving the solution of life situations, improving quality, accessibility and interoperability, reducing the bureaucratic burden on citizens and developing functional requirements of eGovernment in Slovakia. The aim of the project is through the strengthening of ICT applications, the introduction of new electronic services in Košice, to contribute to the improvement of quality and accessibility of eGovernment services. The project will introduce new electronic services and introduce the principle of “one time and enough” especially in the context of reducing the amount of necessary communication of citizens and entrepreneurs with the city and minimising the documentation of mandatory attachments to submissions. The project will be implemented in the city of Košice.
