The proposed project is aimed at:(a) the delivery and installation of radio stations (RDSTs) in rolling stock of series 736, 812, 813, 425 and 840 for a total of 54 units, (b) the supply and installation of BlackBox recording equipment, for the purpose of producing voice recordings from the driver’s cab, a video from cameras from the front view of the track from the driver’s cab and a video of the pantograph and contact line area to traction vehicles of series 162; 362, 425, 736, 812, 813, 840 in a total of 88 pieces.The installation of radio stations and Blackboxes in the above mentioned rolling stock will take place in the premises of ZSSK in the locomotive depot (RD) Bratislava main station, RD Nové Zámky, RD Košice and RD Poprad, RD Prievidza, RD Fiľakovo, RD Brezno, RD Humenné. This project will make a significant contribution to improving the safety of the travelling public, the safety of the operation of railway rolling stock, the fluidity and reliability of rail passenger transport.
