The project solves the implementation of construction – safety measures on the solved section of road I/18 in ZA and TN region 2nd stage in order to increase safety, reduce accident rate, increase fluidity and comfort of transport. The aim of the project is to provide clear, understandable and understandable information about the crossing. This will give the driver more time in the decision-making process in an unexpected situation at a junction, such as a collision with pedestrians, driving priority enforcement, etc. Increasing passive safety on the I/18 road sections in ZA and TN county 2nd stage includes: it starts on the road I/18 near Ratkovo in km 494,000 and ends at the junction of road I/18 with motorway D1 near the village Ivachnová in km 527,30. The total length of the designed section is 33,30 km.section:  it starts at the junction of the road I/18 with the D1 motorway near the village Ivachnová in km 527,30 and ends at the border of Žilina and Prešov region between the municipalities Važec and Štrba in km 584,440. The total length of the designed section is 57,14 km. The work carried out will be focused on na:Križovatky (alignment of the signs of crossings with the applicable legislation and upcoming amendments, addition and replacement of vertical and horizontal traffic signs in intersections).Elements of passive safety, such as EA endings, shock absorbers, ZDZ carriers and guardrails.Measures to increase safety in the village (slowing down traffic at the entrance to the village, pedestrian crossings).Safer traffic management at the point of change of the directional line of the road (directional line – highlighting the directional line of the road).Department of anti-directional traffic with an effort to prevent frontal collisions.Mos (carriers with panel to display information on road and air temperature).
