The project is aimed at reconstruction of the following road sections: I/59 Banská Bystrica – intersection I/59 and I/14, I/16 Rakytník – R2 Figa, I/66 Dobrá Niva – Breziny, I/66 Rakovec – junction II/526 and I/76 Border of the county – R1 Hronský Beňadik. The total length of the reconstructed sections is 24.9688 km in the range of the parts sections:-I/59 Banská Bystrica – junction I/59 and I/14 within the stationing range km 3.939-8.843 with a length of 4.904 km of construction modifications in the range of station;-I/16 Rakytník – R2 Figa in the range of stationing km 331,790-335, 900 on the length of 4.11 km of construction modifications in the scope of the station;-I/66 Dobrá Niva – Breziny in the stationing range km 57,147-64,000 with a length of 6.6948 km of building modifications within the stationing range;-I/66 Rakovec – intersection II/526 in the station range km 35.010-38.390 with a length of 3.38 km of construction modifications within the stationing range;-I/76 Border of the county – R1 Hronský Beňadik in the range of station km 67,800-73,680 with a length of 5.88 km of building modifications within the range of station. The subject of modernisation is the extension of the road, modification of crossings and entrances, road drainage, reconstruction of passes, modification or replacement of traffic signs, replacement and addition of safety devices (conductors, railings, directional pillars, guide strips). The objectives of the project will be achieved through the implementation of the main activity of the project (it represents preparation of project documentation and execution of construction works) and support activities (internal project management, information and communication).Measurable project indicators are: Total length of reconstructed or renovated Class I roads and Number of critical accident sites and collision points removed on Class I roads.
