Electronic services of information systems of the Ministry of the Slovak Republic in the police department – phase 2

The project ‘Electronic services of information systems of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic’ in the field of police forces is intended to streamline the processes of individual police forces, minimise the workability of supporting activities (recording and sharing of information, documentation activities) and enable the relevant personnel and police patrols in the field to focus more on their mission – assistance and protection of Slovak residents. The introduction of planned electronic services of information systems of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic will make it possible to significantly improve and streamline the communication of citizens with the police, to coordinate more effectively patrols in the field. The result will be more efficient traffic police action, which will translate into reduced accident rates, a proactive approach by the police forces and more efficient internal control. This will make the police more transparent for citizens. From an internal point of view, project outputs will be able to use the relevant components of the MVSR to deal with reported events, coordinate field patrols or transport activities. The main users considered on the side of the MVSR are the components of the police and traffic police, as well as other components responsible for internal control and the above mentioned activities.
