Act No 171/2016 amending Act No 575/2001 on the organisation of the activities of the Government and the organisation of the central state administration established, with effect from 1 June 2016, the competences of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investments and Informatisation (hereinafter referred to as “ÚPPVII”) in the field of management, coordination and supervision of the use of funds from European Union funds. The project will ensure the support and reimbursement of salary expenditure of administrative capacity (hereinafter referred to as “AC”) of the FAPVII as the central coordinating body (CKO) directly involved in the ESIF management and coordination system in the 2014-2020 programming period at the level of the Partnership Agreement. The project consists of one main activity “Reimbursement of salaries of ÚPPVII staff ensuring the implementation of tasks within the framework of the coordination of the use of EU funds (CKO)” and the total duration of the implementation of this activity is 31 months (i.e. from 1.6.2016 to 31.12.2018). The results of the implementation of the project will be a prerequisite for achieving efficient and effective coordination of the ESI Funds.
