On the road I/77 the beginning is planned in km 74,000 in front of the bridge no. 77-059 in the cadastral area of Smilno, up to km 96.540, where the end of the modification of road I/77 is planned at a circular junction with road I/73 in Svidník. The length of reconstruction on the road I/77 is 22540 m. The subject of the project on the road I/73 is the reconstruction of the road with the beginning of the circular junction with road I/77 in Svidník in km 40,475, up to the crossroad Kapišová in km 43 675. The length of reconstruction on the road I/73 is 3200 m. The total length of the building is 25740,00 m. Road I/77 is part of the road network of the northern part of eastern Slovakia with the beginning in Spišská Belá, with a continuation through Bardejov and finishing in Svidník, where it connects to the road I/73 heading to the Republic of Poland. The road border crossing point Nižná Polianka – Ożenna is currently limited to 7.5 t freight traffic, with the exception of buses. In the villages of Smilno, Nižná Polianka, Vyšný Mirošov, Nižný Mirošov, Vyšný Orlík and Nižný Orlík, the road I/77 is part of the basic communication system. Its function is to ensure safe, capacity and rapid road links with a higher level of comfort, while ensuring a higher transport function in the territory concerned with a trans-regional function. The project fulfils the objectives of OPII 2014-2020 and to:Tématický objective 7 – Promoting sustainable transport and removing bottlenecks in key network infrastructures through investment priority 7(b) strengthening regional mobility by linking secondary and tertiary nodes to TEN-T infrastructure, including multimodal nodes.Specific objective 6.2 – Improving the safety and accessibility of TEN-T road infrastructure and regional mobility through the construction and upgrading of Class I roads.Other specific objectives, namely najmä:zlepšenie the transport situation of the site, conditions of protection of life and health of residents, protection of the environment, prevention and balanced development of the city and region, reduction of time losses, increased attractiveness of urban areas, increased traffic safety of residents, provision of higher transport comfort to road users, reduction of accidents on the road 1st class. By building the project in question, the smoothness and safety of road traffic will be improved, the accessibility of the Slovak Republic, individual regions and their interconnections will be improved.
