The subject of the present project “Reducing energy consumption in the operation of the municipal office building in Baška” is the implementation of building modifications and measures, in order to reduce current energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, as well as pollutants into the air. As part of the project, the insulation of the external envelope, ceiling under unheated space and floors on the ground will be implemented. Photovoltaic panels to generate electricity from solar energy will be installed on the roof of the building. Part of the project is also the reconstruction of the current heating system and wiring in the building OcÚ.The result of the project will be the overall improvement of the thermal properties of the building of the municipal office, reducing its energy intensity and making the current energy management more efficient. Significant benefits of the implementation of the project will also include the reduction of emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases produced, thus contributing to the improvement of the state of the local environment. The installation and use of photovoltaic panels will increase the capacity of production, as well as the amount of electricity produced from renewable sources.
