The aim of the project is to significantly reduce the energy intensity of the Materská School Šafárikova 11 in Trenčín. This kindergarten, with a capacity of 150 children, is a key organisation of the city in terms of its profiling and high quality of pre-primary education. The current state of the object does not meet the thermal insulation properties required by the current standard or hygiene criteria. The outer casing, roof, balconies and terraces exhibit defects, manifested by wall leaks and cracks. Insufficient insulation is manifested by the emergence of molds in the corners of the rooms. By implementing the project, we will contribute to meeting strategic national as well as European targets for the efficient use of renewables while reducing the energy intensity of public buildings. The project will have a positive impact on the quality of the environment by reducing emissions, thereby contributing to improving the living conditions of the population in the region. We will achieve a positive impact through optimally selected solutions in terms of the design of energy audit and thus by insulation of the perimeter and roof covering, replacement of opening structures, modernisation of heating, lighting and air conditioning and the use of RES.
