University Science Park STU Bratislava – Phase II

The main focus of the project is the completion of the University of Science Park of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava in two locations – in the STU area in Mlynska Valley and in the area of Freedom Square/Radlinský Street in Bratislava. The aim of the project is investment strengthening of infrastructure and applied research in five indicated areas of research. In the field of infrastructure, the state-of-the-art instrumental infrastructure, including optimisation of its location, and also into system tools supporting the protection of intellectual property and the transfer of new knowledge and technologies into practice. Applied research in selected scientific fields will be the subject of activity 2.1. It will focus in particular on the five thematic areas of the project: 020 300 Information Technology, 020 200 Electrical Engineering, 021 000 Industrial Biotechnology, 020 500 Chemical Engineering, 020 100 Building Engineering.The implementation of the project of completing the UVP STU will significantly improve the conditions for research in one of the largest research and educational institutions of the Slovak Republic. Barriers to more effective entry into the European Research Area and more effective cooperation with industrial and social practices will be removed.
