Combined sawdust processing line by pressing process – modernisation of the supply of sawdust

The company EkoPellets Slovakia, s.r.o. is an established producer of quality wooden ecofuels, which has been producing since 2013. It is engaged in the production of wood pellets and briquettes. He has many years of experience in the processing of waste in the form of wood sawdust. The company’s products meet the most demanding European quality requirements and are sold through retail chains and distributors not only in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary, but a large part is directed to markets in Italy and Austria. The products are sold under their own brand name EkoPellet and EkoBrik. The basic objective is to provide customers with quality pellet and briquette at a reasonable price. The company is owned by 2 legal entities – Slovaktherm, s.r.o. and ecoMax Holding, a.s. The aim of the project is to “Increase the rate of waste matching by preparing for re-use, by modernising a production line dedicated to the processing of biodegradable waste – wood sawdust at EkoPellets Slovakia, s.r.o.” The subject of the project is the acquisition of new technology, which is an input part of the technology line for pellet and briquette production. The main activity is “Recovery of biodegradable waste”, the implementation of which is planned for 4 months, from 09/2017 to 12/2017. The implementation of the project will achieve the fulfilment of 2 measurable indicators: Amount of recovered non-hazardous waste – increase of 1300 t/year and Increased capacity for recovery of non-hazardous waste – increase by 1000 t/year.
