At present, DPB has approximately 712 public transport vehicles, 135 trams, 120 trolleybuses and 457 buses. The DPB’s objective of extending environmentally friendly public transport is met by a variety of procedures, namely: by renewing the fleet of trams, trolleybuses and, as part of this project, by building an electric bus fleet. It thus contributes to the development and improvement of environmentally friendly transport systems, including low-carbon transport systems, thereby making public passenger transport more attractive and competitive. The expected result of IROP is, in addition to iného:zmena the sharing of transport work in favour of more environmentally friendly modes of transport, reduction of air pollution (PM, NO, O, CO). The main objective of the project is to increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of public passenger transport in BratislavaCiele, or the benefits of implementing electrobuses that meet the results of IROP are as follows: reduction of emissions from the operation of bus lines in environmentally burdened urban areas as well as in relaxation zonesreducing noise loads (due to the number of purchased e-buses this indicator is still inconclusive)the use of modern and prospective means of public transport of personsreducing energy intensity also due to the possibility of energy recuperation in brakingpositive presentation of DPB, a.s. and the Slovak capital.increased culture of travel in noiseless and nature friendly bus.
