The main objective of the project is to improve conditions and improve pre-school preparation for children in the village of Vojka. In the municipality, there has been no long-term investmentin education infrastructure, whether pre-school or also in higher-level education. The facilities of kindergartens are outdated,unsuitable for modern preparation of children to master the first level of basic education. Population growth, especially those from the environment of CLLD, has recently increased regularly but the capacity of pre-school facilities has not increased. By increasing the capacity of the MES, it would increase the precondition for better training, with a link to the next levels of education, thus improving the social and economic situation and bridging the gap between the minority and the majority of the population. By using the possibility of placement of children in the institution of the university, together with other activities such as community work, the continuation of field-social work, the use of the services of assistants of teachers, mainly from the MRC environment, the possibility of developing children’s parents would be significantly improved in order to reduce the language barrier and better communication with children. Finding a job, attending courses and continuing education would increase the chances of finding a job and reducing high recorded unemployment in the region. The specific objective of the project is to create and improve the technical equipment of the municipality, especially its school infrastructure. These objectives are in line with the global objective of the Human Resources Operational Programme “Promoting the development of human resources, lifelong learning and their full integration into the labour market to improve their social situation” and also in line with specific objective 6.1.2 “Improve access to quality education, including early childhood education and care” of Priority Axis 6 “Technical amenities in municipalities with the presence of CLLD”. The main activity of the project is 2.1.Reconstruction of the building of the kindergarten/scheduled workplace in order to expand its capacity by extension, superstructure, change of disposition of objects. In the village there is/was one secondary school in the number of children 12, and the building of the kindergarten is closed since 05.12.2015. Currently, the kindergarten operates in the premises of the municipal office.The implementation of the project activities eliminates the emergency condition, significantly improves the technical characteristics of the building and extends its capacity from the current 12 children to 25 children (extension of 13 children). The projected proportion of children from the MRC environment in the newly created capacity of the secondary school will increase by 9 out of the current 10 children to 19, which is approximately 69.2 % of the increased capacity of the secondary school. Modern access to education for all children will create a precondition for a better coexistence of both parts of the population and thus also contribute to social inclusion. Awareness-raising and measures to maintain regular schooling for children will also be properly exploited.
