Healthy communities 3A

The main activity of the project is the implementation and development of health mediation,which consists of a set of activities aimed at:1. Preparation of targeted and efficient implementation of project activities,2. Human Resources,3.Human Resources Development,4. Implementation of health mediation,5.Assessment of intervention activities of health mediation at community level,6. Compliance of the project with the principles of desegregation, degetoisation and destigmatisation,7. Protection of workers’ health. The project will be implemented on the territory of BSK (more developed region). BSK is the most developed region of Slovakia, yet there are localities on its territory which, by their living conditions and other indicators, show indicators comparable to the CLLD in Eastern Slovakia. The project implementation period is 30 months. The activities will be implemented through the direct involvement of the population at risk of RCHSV in the activities of the project.Priorityly, the project activities will be carried out in 7 municipalities approved in the national project and in adjacent municipalities, as appropriate determined on the basis of the situation in the field in the first phase of the project. Activities are planned to be extended to workers’ hostels.  Target groups: staff implement policies and measures in the field of prevention of discrimination and/or social inclusion in both the public and non-public sectors;marginalised groups, including Roma. The project will result in health promotion tools for people at risk of poverty and social exclusion, leading to improved access to healthcare by reducing, in particular, internal barriers, increasing participation in preventive examinations and compulsory vaccination, ensuring early identification of the incidence of infectious diseases, increasing awareness of health and healthcare, improving communication and relations with healthcare providers, increasing confidence in the health system.
