The new programming period 2014-2020 represents an opportunity for the Slovak Republic to draw on EU funds, which it can use in recent years to improve the quality of life of residents of individual regions. The communication strategy of the Operational Programme Technical Assistance for the Partnership Agreement for the 2014-2020 programming period shall include a communication strategy in accordance with relevant national and European legislation towards the general public and beneficiaries with a view to a better, more efficient and transparent implementation of ESI Funds assistance and highlighting the contribution of the EU and its cohesion policy to promoting economic growth, employment and closing regional disparities. The project to end the initial media campaign is a set of media activities that, through its focus, will raise citizens’ awareness of the European Structural and Investment Funds of the new programming period. Increased public awareness contributes to creating a favourable information environment for the implementation of the European Structural and Investment Funds. The main idea behind the campaign, which will be implemented through this project, is to draw attention to the fact that, despite the fact that there are already many investments from the funds, the challenges continue and there are still many opportunities to materialise ideas, good ideas and innovative practices through the implementation of projects from the Structural Funds so that every resident of our country benefits.
