Cooperation with the OECD on the creation of an anti-corruption environment in the programming and implementation of funds in Slovakia 2

The project will be implemented on the basis of a partnership with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) based in Paris. It is an international organisation that covers states with an advanced democratic political system and a market economy. The cooperation in question will take the form of a partnership between the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Investments and Informatisation (hereinafter referred to as “ÚPPVII”), represented by the Central Coordination Body (hereinafter referred to as “CKO”). Through cooperation with the OECD, the project aims to tackle corruption and fraud in EU funds in Slovakia. The aim of the project is to draw up a proposal for a Strategy for Combating Corruption and Fraud of EU Funds as a key representative document, which is the basic framework for addressing the issue. A precondition for the implementation of the project will be a joint letter between the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Investments and Informatisation of the Slovak Republic and the OECD, which will constitute the contractual basis containing the content and financial requirements of the cooperation. The drafting of the strategy will include a review of the current situation, an action plan to improve the current situation, two OECD expert missions to Slovakia and 4 workshops/workshops. The requested amount of NFA is EUR 358 800. The main objective will be to draw up a proposal for a strategy to combat corruption and fraud in EU funds, including an Action Plan to strengthen the fight against corruption and fraud, and workshops/workshops will be the accompanying outputs.
