The objective of the project “Supporting the implementation of IB SAŽP” is to ensure the effective implementation of the operational programme through erudated human resources with sufficient material and technical security using external services to support the implementation of the OP ABP. Sufficient material and technical security shall create conditions for the quality implementation of administrative capacity activities in accordance with and within the scope of the rights and obligations deriving from the Contract for the performance of part of the tasks of the managing authority by the intermediate body. The performance of the above tasks is also related to the eligible activities under the OP KŽP as well as the eligible activities in the framework of the closure of the OP ŽP. The aim of the project is also to ensure sufficient public awareness of the Operational Programme Quality of the Environment and to raise awareness of the role of the EU and the possibilities of support provided by the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF). The implementation of the project activities will allow access to information for potential applicants of non-repayable financial contribution (hereinafter referred to as “NFA”) applicants, beneficiaries of NFA as well as professional and general public, will ensure transparency in the provision of such information and will help to implement the objectives of the operational programme. The Slovak Environment Agency honestly declares that as an applicant for a non-repayable financial contribution from the Operational Programme Quality of Environment for a project entitled “Support for the implementation of SO SAŽP” it will not exercise the right to deduct tax under Act No 222/2004 Coll. on Value Added Tax, as amended, and will not claim a VAT refund. The duration of the project is from 03/2019 to 08/2021, i.e. 30 months. The place of implementation of the project is the whole territory of the Slovak Republic. Within the project, the activities fall under the specific objective: 5.1.1 Ensuring effective implementation of the programme and 5.1.2 Ensuring broad awareness of the programme and supporting administrative capacity building for beneficiaries.
